At 17 years of age, Michelle entered Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine to study the basic theories of Eastern and Western Medicine. After graduation in 1984, she started working at The First Affiliated Hospital at the Kunming Medical University as the resident physician.
In 1992, she was promoted to attending physician, mainly treating patients with chronic bronchitis, hypertension, rheumatoid arthritis, hyperthyroidism, and menstruation.
From 1997 to 2000, she completed the Chinese National Doctorate Apprenticeship with Doctor Zhan Wentao, specializing in geriatric, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease research.
In 2000, Michelle was promoted to deputy chief physician before moving to the United States.
Today, Michelle continues her practice in San Gabriel, California. In the last twenty years, she has worked with patients suffering from hyperlipidemia, hypertension, stroke, type 2 diabetes, menstruation issues, pregnancy issues, physical pain, and joint issues. Using Traditional Chinese Medicine, she is helping patients find cures and preventative measures to ensure long term health.
